ARTIST STATEMENT:
My work reflects my fascination for detail. Through drawing in such detail, I go further inside the drawing and reflect on what I find there. The challenge is to represent through black and white medium, all the colors and textures in nature. I enjoy drawing old houses, fences, landscapes - anything that speaks to me of a history or gives me a feeling of uncovering what may be underneath the surface. I have had commissions in Hawaii and Arizona and look forward to capturing in ink many of our historical landmarks in Southern California.
