ARTIST STATEMENT:
Many of my paintings are done from memory. Using my imagination, I often create imagery while sketching. Sometimes, I have an idea and work directly on the canvas. Themes in nature, garden and landscape motivate me. Often, my paintings celebrate dramatic or comical subjects. Working with figurative and abstract subjects, I look forward to painting each day.
