ARTIST STATEMENT:
I am a French painter, living in Long Beach, CA. since November 2006.
I have lived in France, Tunisia and Germany with my husband and three children.
My art work including my abstract pieces, represents the colorful diversity of life, our lives in the cosmos as well as our joys and failures. My preferred media are acrylic and watercolor - I find that through them I can best capture l'instant présent.
Mixing bold and vibrant brush or knife strokes, I endeavor to portray feelings, movement and complexity through randomness. Chaos and unpredictability are present in my art, coming from my background in mathematics.
